Comment Question of the Day: WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL BEAUTIFUL INSIDE/ DO YOU HAVE ANY GOOD SKIN TIPS. Put your comments and thoughts below this blog. We may use your comments in a future broadcast!!!

Today was a fun show because I got to be the guest!!!! For those of you that don’t know, one of my many career titles I have held over the years is Skin Therapist! Having grown up with pretty bad acne when I was young, skin health has always been a big concern for me. Your skin is one of the first things people see about you so if you have any major skin issues you will know that it can be quite the confidence killer.

I will never forget the time that I was working in the nursery at my church growing up, and the little 5 year old kid that started an entire chorus of little ones asking me about my chicken pox and asking why would I come into the nursery and give them all the chicken pox! I was never really liked much after that day in the nursery. Or one of my best friends in high school saying, “You know I love you right, just sometimes it is hard to look at your face” OH HORROR OF HORRORS!!!! Of course some may be thinking vanity of vanities. I would say to those people, “Obviously  you have never struggled with skin issues!” This is the part where all of us with problem skin start high five-ing each other…..but now that I think about it there could be other reasons we were made fun of! LOL! =).

Many people struggle with adult acne or other skin issues but no matter what your skin issues are or may have been, I hope this show helps you today!  What is most important to my heart is that you know the beauty that lies within you! You are the greatest masterpiece. If you have ever been hurt by ridicule I pray healing to your wounded soul because no one deserves to have that happen in their lives!

My sad youthful stories and wanting to see others healed physically and emotionally from their bad skin, gave me the passion to go back to school and become a skin therapist. My favorite part was encouraging and praying over my clients as I worked on their skin and massaged their tired shoulders. Too bad the economy went in the pooper lol.  I hope that I can share some wisdom in how to improve your skin’s health today and if you have any further questions, feel free to write a comment below or if you would like it to be more private write me an email on the Contact Us page. I love you!!!

Don’t buy ANY product or meidaction! Make your own face mask and exfoliater. Here is an exfoliater:Mix 2 teaspoons of baking soda with a few drops of warm water. Massage the paste over your face and rinse with warm water over the sink. Do this at least twice every week. Now here are some face masks:Oatmeal-Yogurt Mask for OILY SKIN- Mix 2 tablespoons of uncooked oatmeal and 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt.Honey-Oatmeal Mask for DRY SKIN- Mix 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 tablespoon of uncooked oatmeal.Yogurt-Cucumber Mask for SENSITIVE SKIN- Puree 2 tablespoons of yogurt with 1/4 cup of peeled and sliced cucumber. Use a cotton ball to pat the mask onto your face and rinse with cool water.THIS STUFF REALLY HELPS!To get rid of acne also do this:Stay hydrated!Don’t touch your skin a lot.Wash your face every morning with soap and water.Don’t pick at your zits, it will leave scars.Wash your pillow case often about once a week.

i heard honey, or a oats maskbut try one of theseDab a small auonmt of toothpaste (paste, not gel) on pimples before bed; this helps dry out the pimples. Mix equal auonmts of lemon juice and rose water, apply to face with a cotton ball, and allow to sit for 30 minutes before rinsing. 15-20 days of this application helps cure pimples and also helps to remove blemishes and scars. Apply fresh lemon juice on the affected area overnight. Wash off with warm water next morning. For acne that hasn’t seemed to respond to anything, steep 2-3 tsp. dried basil leaves in 1 cup boiling water for 10-20 minutes, cool, and apply to affected area with a cotton ball.

ok so i have really bad acne im alyaws stressed out and im self conscious i have EXTREMELY sensitive skin to i have tried all the big name brands but not clearasil yet and i have tried almost all of the home remedies and they haven’t worked and i asked my friends what they use (they have both really nice clear skin. one of my friends uses clearasil ultra rapid action daily face wash, clearasil ultra rapid action pads, and clearasil rapid action treatment cream it says your skin is supposed to be visisiby clearer in 12 hours. my other friend uses an all natural stress relief scrub with soothing ccucumber and green tea with camelli oleifera leaf extract, and flower extract i don’t know if the all natural one will be as powerful as the clearasil but i need most of my acne visably gonna in a week when i see my boy friend which one will clear by my acne up the fastest be honest i need to know honestly especially since i have tried every thing and nothing helps so do you think the clearasil ultra rapid action stuff that takes 12 hours to visable see clearer skin or the all natural acne scrub?

I’m not a beauty guru or antihyng, I don’t even own make-up and I started using this. After the first use, I noticed a huge difference. I have sensitive skin and moderate to little acne. I knew that there was a pimple coming up and it went away without ever forming. I only use this once a day during the shower, but it works so well, that’s all I need! I recommend this product if you trust my non-beauty skills, haha. (:

Hello there: thank you for using time of creating up this knowledge. I usually attempt to further more my understanding of elements. Whether I consent or disagree, I love information. I bear in mind the old times once the only source of knowledge was the library or the newspaper. They both equally feel so old. Please excuse my bad english : )

Try not to touch them and do not squeeze them any more. The most nturaal method is just to leave them and see how they are in a week. If you are a teenager, some spots are guaranteed and is a sign that you are an adolescence. Touching the spots is the worst thing you could do because you may get germs on your fingers and pass them elsewhere on your face; this will result in more spots and they maybe even bigger! Some acne creams don’t work and have lots of chemicals in that you could be allergic to. To help reduce them, you could wash your face thoroughly twice a day and rinse well with water. Try not to wear too much make-up (a small bit of mascara, lipstick and a touch of blusher is okay, not full face) as this can clog the pores and lead to more acne.Hope I helped

1-wash face with acne cream, then with lime or lemon juice(I have lime juice at the moment)2-putting egg wihets on for 10-15 minuets3-putting a mix of mix 3 tablespoons of honey with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon on as a spot treatment, and washing off in the morning4-in the morning, rubbing fresh garlic on pimples5-using cleanser again7-putting ice on pimples that do not have a head yetWashing and dabbing acne with cotton balls that have been soaked in vinegar in morning or nightusing a face mask made of oats and waterusing sugar to scrub face when I wash my face, at least once a dayusing a baking soda-water mix to rub into face gently for 10-15 seconds then removing and patting dry with a clean clothgiving myself a weekly facial by mixing a yolk of an egg with two tablespoons of milk and half a tablespoon of honey. Apply this on your face and leave it on for about fifteen minutes. Then wash with lukewarm water. If you’re out in the sun a lot, milk mixed with melted butter helps soften the dry skin.and using lemon juice(when we get some) to reduce freckles.I only want to know if using this many things(and I wouldn’t do all of them, I just haven’t decided which to use yet) will be harmful to my skin, or will back fire. Thxand heard that toothpaste helps, if left on a pimple over night?

I love this show you all are great I live in Wa state and it nice to hear my mom happy. Since you are doing fashion and skin care how about clothes tjat flatter. I am overweight and I see a lot of fat people here wearing stretch pants and what my hubby calls booty shorts. Some people just shouldn’t wear certain clothes.
